Fans of Ubuntu have eagerly awaited the release of a Smartphone using Ubuntu. In April 2014, Meizu showed off the MX3 based on the Ubuntu operating system and rumors circulated this week after reports that Meizu and Canonical have signed an agreement.

 

 

The new Meizu MX4 is anticipated to feature a new version of the company’s Flyme OS, based on Ubuntu instead of Android. Meizu is an Original Equipment Manufacturer based in China.
