Vista hardware requirements to be detailed

According to CNet Microsoft is going to be launching a “Vista-Capable” program today that will list the hardware features needed to run Vista. Great idea.

Another thing I’d like to see Microsoft begin to provide is a list of some of the new features in Vista. Various Microsoft team blogs have given us glimpses–and there are the community builds–but I’d like to see something all in one spot. I have to admit that after going to the PDC launch for Longhorn in 2003 and hearing about the new features in Longhorn, I sometimes get confused today when I think about Vista. Is this or that feature something I heard at PDC or something that’s actually going to be shipping in Vista?
