MattW spent hours preparing a new server, moving files, moving databases, and tweaking paths so that the server now operates with much greater performance. In fact, we were able to enable W3TC Cache for WordPress.
We are not finished, though. The theme needs some optimization; for example, bxslider is trying to load as well as a few other files. In time, the new server should be purring along.
The DNS was switched around 8:30 AM PST and so traffic has been light as changes were made to the WordPress permalinks, categories, and the addition of a new XenWord forum.
