Windows Live Mail & Contacts

Trying to get Windows 7 up and running. I've imported my address book into
Contacts and can see everything. When I run Windows Live Mail only some of
the contacts show up when I try to send an email . . . why?

If I try to send an email from Contacts (where I can see all my contacts) I
get a message saying that is no email program associated to perform the
requested action. Guess I need some help.

Thanks,

Rick Morrison

Since WLM is an add on program, it is not associated with contacts by
default. You have to go in and associate it.

What "contacts"? Windows 7 doesn't HAVE "contacts"....

Have a look in Control Panel > Programs.
Under 'Default Programs' select 'Set your default programs'.
There you can set the defaults for Windows Live Mail and Windows Contacts.
