why did my document turn small

i was just writing some stuff and all of a sudden, everything shrunk down.
now size 17 looks like size 8. what's wrong???

Did you change the zoom % on the standard toolbar? Sounds like it got
changed to 50% ...

If I'm understanding you correctly, you didn't intentionally change the size
of the font, but the font size 17 just looks smaller, as if it is size 8.
If so, this often happens during scrolling - if you accidentally pressed
CTRL while scrolling down. To correct this, just open the section, press CTRL
and press + until it gets back to normal.

You have received two replies to your question. You will see that we
need to know *how* it got small: there are two possibilities:
a. you made the font size itself smaller, or
b. you changed the 'zoom' ratio (which did not change the font
size but did change the screen appearance).

So, can you let us know which of these it is? (If you don't know how
to tell that, let us know.)
