Not sure what you call this.

When I open a website and I have to type in the user name, after the first
letter it predicts the user name.
However I have typed many errors so when this happens I have about 7 names
appear, is there a way to delete the error ones?

thanks

AutoComplete

Internet Options -> Content -> AutoComplete settings

You could delete all the cached entries.

Or maybe you could highlight the misspelled entry in the drop-down listbox
and hit the Del key to delete it. (This is a guess since I configure IE8 to
purge all such data to retain a secure host.)
