Students begin taking their yearly course assessments tomorrow. In California, the STAR tests help teachers evaluate the year. There will be three days dedicated to tests but results will not be known until the end of August - way too late to help the student.
I am hoping my students remember the basics: read each question, follow the units, and do not leave blanks. Some kids will do fine. Some kids will not do well.
