Scalia: Turn off the TV

Supreme Court Justice Scalia defended his decision in Citizens United last night before the South Carolina Bar. He stated interpretations should not be the blame of the judges but up to politicians to change laws. Further, Scalia states Americans are smart and have the option to turn off the tv.

Good point: legislators pass laws, not judges. And yes, people choose whether or not to listen to political ads, etc. In mass media, junk mail, ... Isn't it cynical for people to think someone else should make decisions for us, even about political choices such as who can appear and say Whatever in mass media.
