I am having trouble when i connect a projector to my laptop which is using xp.
I can seen to only have the image either on the laptop or on the projector
not on both.
I go through control panel and display and enable the second monitor but it
only displays the screen saver and not the icons or powerpoint presentation.
When i do control +f key its pushes it from the laptop to the projector but
the laptop loses it then.
Now it probably something i am missing but am struggling to find where you
enable the display to be displayed on both devises.

Any help would be much appricated.

Dave.

Normally and IF the laptop graphics adapter supports it, using the FN+F
key, you will toggle through laptop screen only, projector output only,
both, and then back to laptop only. If that doesn't happen the laptop
doesn't support it.

You may need to command the computer where to send the monitor signal.
This is often accomplished by holding the "Function" key and pressing
the "F3" key. This will toggle between 3 options: Monitor, Projector, or
both. If you wish to see the display on both the projector and the
monitor, hold the "Function" key and then press the F3 key until the
display is being projected and also is on the laptop's monitor.
