My personal notebook

I hit close notebook on the task bar when I was in personal notebook and it
disappeared. I found it in the file, but when I asked to open it said file
not found and the backup was also not found. I lost the tabs, etc. and some
work I had done. Thanks.

I'm not sure that I completely understand what exactly went wrong.
Was the notebook perhaps on a removable or network drive? Did you check the
default backup location? Did you try to copy the file you found to another
location and start it from there?

What version of OneNote are you using? Are you sure you opened the right
file when you went to re-open it?
