My laptop was stolen. Is there a way to deactivate the license?

My laptop was stolen and it had office 2007 professional installed. i have
the product key.

is there any way to disable/deactivate the license on the stolen laptop so i
can install office on my new laptop?

any advice is appreciated.

You also need the installation disk, if its a retail version simply install
and activate

If there is a problem during activation (there might be) then there will be
a screen with a number to call for phone activation.
