Do you mean the Live Search Toolbar and the Google Search Toolbar or do you
mean the built-in Search Box (to the right of the Address Bar)
What Windows version and service pack level do you have installed (XP, SP2
or Vista SP1, SP2 etc)
What version(s) of IE did you have installed previously? If you previously
had IE8 installed, do you remember if you enabled Search Suggestions for
both your Google and Live Search Providers.
Do you only have to type the characters "abs" and nothing else to cause the
error (Click a button, Press the Enter key)
If you are using Vista, go Start>Control Panel>Problem Reports and Solutions
and locate the error report for the crash and copy and paste it back with
the other questions we need to be answered.
