How figure out color number(s) for particular color used in logo?

I know there's a way to figure out what color is used in a picture. It will
tell you the correct color numbers (RED/GREEN/BLUE) associated with the
particular color.

How do I do it?

Flightless Bird
You need an image editor that has a color picker (often represented by an
eyedropper). It lets you click on the color and it will tell you what it is.
I think Paint.Net (free) has one, or Photoshop (not free).
