Hello,
This is perhaps both a Microsoft Office issue and a Windows Vista issue.
I bought a copy of Microsoft Office 2007 the other day, and tried to install it onto Vista.
I got an error message: I.D. 1935 and a large display of numbers and a "HRESULT" with some other numbers including letters.
From investigating this error, I found it was a .Netframework issue (i.e. 2.0, or 3.5), or an issue with Windows Installer (activated/deactivated). Turns out, in my case, it wasn't either. I still can't get it fixed.
I've also tried installing each component of 2007 individually, but the same error occurs.
Any theories?
