Developers of Tablets and Smartphones as Educators

DEVELOPERS OF TABLETS AND SMARTPHONES have captured a teachers' and a learners' view of learning and made them into tangible objects. They have made tools that we can use to teach and learn more efficiently.

In the best sense of the word, these developers are Educators of the highest rank. Developers did what teachers do: skillfully select behavior patterns people use daily and replace them with new behavior patterns that learners can use to accomplish more faster and easier.

Developers and teachers appear to follow the maxim that, if it's a pattern, they can develop a way for learners to repeat it more efficiently.

Many educators today still struggle with reconciling differences between their personal views of teaching and learning and views used to develop Tablets, Sphones, and other such tools.

To these teachers and administrators, developers of electronic communication tools say, Here's another way to do what you already do. Try it, your learners might learn more, learn it faster, and like learning.

Kudos, electronic communication developers and thanks for continuing to make education more efficient around the globe "...and beyond." (Thanks, Buzz Lightyear, for that last phrase. :))
