AJ: Hey Al, whatcha doing?
Albert: (holding a match) I’m burning a CD.
AJ: That looks fun.
Albert: It takes a steady paw to hold the match and turn the CD. (sticking tongue out to side.) It … takes … patience …
AJ: Hmm… Gracie told me not to play with matches? Didn’t she warn you?
Albert: It’s okay kid. Just gotta make sure you don’t let the match burn down too low or the paw will get a little hot. No big de … OUCH. (waving paw).

Holiday Store Specials
It’s a holly, jolly Holiday, a time to smile and laugh.
Al: A.J. Is that you singing?
A.J.: You bet. It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
Gracie: Where did you find that digital camera, Al?
Al: Shhhhhhh. At our holiday store. I want to surprise the pup with his picture on my screensaver.
A.J. So there’s no place like home for the holidays, unless I have pictures to launch from my HDD. It’s a holly, jolly, Holiday….(as he pirouets away).
Al: I think he heard us talking.

Supreme Court: FL Election Oral Arguments
Al: It’s about time. Get this election over.
Gracie: Now, Al, stop grumping. Did you listen to the court proceedings this morning?
Al: Didn’t have to. I know how it will come out. Courts leave me no bones.
A.J.: I heard part of it. The judges interrupted the lawyers. Heh, someone took my Rook cards while I listened. I’ll sue, I’ll sue, I’ll
Gracie: Come on, boys. Let’s focus for a moment. What’s more important, your bones and Rook cards, or listening to 9 judges figure out how to solve a difference of opinion?
Al: Spoil sport.
A.J.: Neither. Come play with me.
Gracie: Quiet. I’m still trying to listening while I’m working.

Salute to Darrell Waltrip
We salute Darrell Waltrip, NASCAR superstar, Franklin, TN, former neighbor, and one smart challenger of the good ol’ boys who recently retired from competitive driving. His insight, skill, and valuing of each person’s word as their bond changed stock car racing in the 1970s. We remember his Late Modified Chevelle in the wooden one car garage in Franklin between races at the Fairgrounds in Nashville. You came a long way from that garage. Keep up the good work. See you down the road and on the web.
