QuizUp is an iPhone application which works on the Apple iPad, too. However, you will need to be careful pushing answers if you install it on the iPad.
QuizUp is a series of multiple choice questions based on different topics. You play online against someone else and race to answer the questions first. Yes, you not only must know the answer but you have to be faster than the other person to score points. Badges are earned as you score more points.
Plain Vanilla launched the app in November 2013. The Wall Street Journal suggests this game is comparable to Trivial Pursuit launched in 2009 (2013).
