Apple to offer movies

Washington Post: “Apple will begin selling movies from the Walt Disney Co. and Lionsgate Films for play on iPods, computers and perhaps televisions. Financial analysts expect the films to cost from $9.99 to $14.99 each.”

Along these lines, I’ve long thought for a long time that every Tablet PC should be bundled with at least a free trial from a movie download service. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been the right type of service available to make this practical. Maybe with Apple and others offering movies, the competitive juices will stir and we’ll see an offering like this on Tablets.
