Apple presentation highlights from Engadget

Engadget does an excellent job of live-blogging today’s Apple event.

Some of the highlights: 80GB iPod, iPod games ($4.99 each), updated iTunes, movie downloads (640×480 resolution), and sneak peak at an “iTV video box”.

In terms of the movie download announcement. It appears that except for the first week, movies will be $9.99 a piece. Hmmm. At $4.99 it would be a winner. At $9.99 there are so many other competing ways to get content. Maybe when I’m travelling I might go the Apple download route. I’ll have to see.

Anyway, it looks like I’m going to have to take another trip to the local Apple store to check out the new and updated Apple products.
