From the Corvallis, OR Gazette-Times: “The city of Corvallis has gone high-tech with its building-permit process, and contractors now can now apply and pay online 24 hours a day at www.corvallispermits.com. Building inspectors are starting to use tablet computers in the field and will send e-mailed correction notices to applicants from work sites. Eventually, contractors will be able to schedule inspections online, as well.”
