Mix07’ing it up with ink

Microsoft’s premier web conference, Mix07, is coming up in a couple weeks and it looks like I might have been a little late trying to get a pass. It’s sold out. I’m on the wait list, so fingers crossed.

Checking out the Sessions page on the Mix07 site has me kicking myself. Among numerous sessions on WPF/e and at least one WPF session on a comic book reader that noone should be able to resist–the Mix07 site also lists a session that references ink. Yes, ink.

Here it is:

Ink for Designers and Developers
Speaker(s): Sam Geroge – Microsoft
Audience(s): Designer, Developer
Imagine if your users could add handwritten annotations over online photos, greeting cards or video (including live playback of your handwriting). Learn how to use Ink to take your Web sites to new heights of interactivity, personalization, social interaction, and usability. Learn the key design principles for Ink, and see how to code for Ink in the browser and on the server.

[Note: I edited this post to remove another session which was listed previously on the site, but which has since been removed.]
