Ink the Expression way

After playing with the December CTP of Microsoft Expression Design (MED) a bit I’ve been thinking some more about what ink is.

If you haven’t yet, try checking out the latest CTP of Microsoft Expression Design. With it you can render various stroke types, each which can be represented as a collection of XAML objects. There are paint-brush like stroke effects, airbrush effects, calligraphy-like strokes, and more.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if these stroke types were part of the Tablet SDK?

It might lead to a new generation of artistic Tablet apps.

It also seems like these vectorized strokes are more browser friendly, which also would be a good thing.
