One Tablet down and one more reason to improve browsers

Robert Scoble’s Tablet PC won’t boot anymore. (Hmm, hard drive?) He now has a Lenovo.

I also see Robert runs across one more reason why browsers should cache what you write:

I just spent 20 minutes typing up a blog post and IE 7 bombed on me, restarted, and lost my post.”

I’ll say it again, for many of us we use browsers for more than just reading and filling out short forms; we use them for writing. The browser writers need to step up and make browsers richer to make this experience better. This means adding spell checking, auto-caching of what you write in case things go wrong, auto-correct, and so on.
