Inking in Salesforce.com

I was just experimenting with the ink in IE feature I posted about last week within Salesforce.com. It’s so cool to be able to ink directly in the browser as I fill out fields.

There are a couple issues I need to work around, however. When the fields are close together on the page I need to make sure that neighboring drop lists and the like don’t get accidentally activated. I thought I had this worked out before, but there’s still some more work to do.

Also, there were a couple extra repaints within IE. I’m not sure what was causing them.

Oh, and I need a good way to enter blocks of text, such as in a mult-line comment field. Maybe the TIP is best for this. Hmmm.

Note to self: I need to make a screencast.
