Layne moved TabletPCPost to a new server…and hosting company. The performance difference is significant.
Layne had long suspected that the old server was being pipe limited. It looks like that may have been the situation.
The new server should (fingers crossed) have enough horsepower, capacity, and bandwidth to get us well passed the 200,000 download mark with TabletPCPost is rapidly approaching.
200,000 downloads you ask? Yep! As of this moment TabletPCPost has had 197,269 downloads. We’re only 2,731 downloads from crossing the 200,000 mark. My guesstimate is that we’ll hit the 200K mark sometime in April.
Which makes me think, shouldn’t we do something special as TabletPCPost hits the 200K milestone? I think it’s time for a giveaway. Hmmm. My thinking cap is on…..
