According to UPS the Toshiba M400 Tablet PC I ordered last Friday is on its way:
Location Date……Local Time………………….Activity
SHANGHAI, CN 03/31/2006 10:18 P.M. DEPARTURE SCAN
SHANGHAI, CN 03/31/2006 8:51 P.M. EXPORT SCAN
Interesting, the package is being sent Express from Shanghai, China so I hope to get it by Monday. Right now ups.com indicates that the package is scheduled for delivery today. I doubt this very much considering that there are no scans yet for the package in the US. I wouldn’t mind it if UPS drops the package by at 3AM tonight though. 🙂
Update: The M400 has made it to Alaska. It’s getting closer:
ANCHORAGE, AK, US 03/31/2006 3:46 P.M. REGISTERED WITH CLEARING AGENCY;SHIPMENT SUBMITTED TO CLEARING AGENCY
ANCHORAGE, AK, 03/31/2006 3:46 P.M. REGISTERED WITH CLEARING AGENCY;RELEASED BY CLR AGENCY. NOW IN-TRANSIT
ANCHORAGE, AK, 03/31/2006 12:56 P.M. ARRIVAL SCAN
I’m guessing that a Monday delivery is going to be a long shot, however, since we’re running up against the weekend. How different the world would be if most people worked 7 days a week 🙂
hi loren, just wondering where you bought the m400 from to have it delivered directly from china
http://www.toshibadirect.com is where I ordered the M400 from. I had no idea it was going to be shipped from China when I bought it. I’m glad they didn’t charge for shipping. Can you imagine the FedEx bill on express? 🙂
