New ink blogger

Warner Crocker links to Craig Pringle linking to Phillipe Marjerus who’s blogging in ink. Very well done.

Note that the ink is rendered using VML (Vector Markup Language). Try selecting some of the ink and you’ll notice that you can select individual strokes of his handwriting. This is close to what’s needed. I like the selectability of the strokes over the SVG renderers I’ve tried. This is getting closer. Now if I could only copy/paste the VML into Journal as ink….hmmm…Maybe a conversion utility is in order. Checking ClipSpy, the VML strokes appear to be available as polyline points wrapped in Html format. Sounds like a good weekend project.

If anyone goes for it, be sure to add it to TabletPCPost.
