Mark Cuban’s aserts that the dekstop is dead:

“The desktop is boring.

All the fun is happening with portable devices. Phones, Ipods, gaming consoles, PDAs, digital cameras, even hard drives and flash drives. All the good stuff is coming in small packages.”

Yep, already notebook sales have outstripped desktops. Big mono-color boxes are going to fade fast.

Mobility, whether it be phones, digital cameras, or Tablet PCs, is where the innovation is.
