Averatac spotting

Charles checks out the Averatec C3500 while at Cosco….or is it that he made a special trip to Cosco to check out the Averatec Tablet :-). [via TabletQuestions]

His first impressions sound quite positive.

I’ve checked my local Cosco–but there aren’t any Averatec units. My guess is that my local Cosco won’t carry any either because of how they display notebooks–they mount them on a steeply sloped board at the end of an aisle. Even if they strapped the Averatec to the display, it would be very hard to tell its special features compared to the other notebooks surrounding it.

I’m particularly interested in how the Averatec performs plugged and unplugged as well as any heat issues. I’ll try another Cosco store this afternoon and see if I have any better luck finding one.
