I watched part of “Oprah’s Favorite Things” Christmas show last night. Wow.
This time around her Favorite Things list included a Blackberry and a Sony DVD video recorder. Hmm. I wonder if Oprah could use a Tablet PC? I imagine she does a lot of reading on the go. Would an eBook platform be useful for her? She also mentioned on the show that she liked the Blackberry because it was simple and allowed her to answer email while away from the computer-bound desk. This sounds like she needs a Tablet PC that’ll enable her to break from her desk chains even more.
I wonder what other features the Tablet PC may offer her? Hmm. How about working with the Oprah crew to ink enable an Oprah.com Journal? I wonder if the show maintains a visitor log? Or could a slate-style Tablet PC be customized for her so she could capture photos of guests with her, sign them, and email copies to the audience or members of Oprah.com?
Tablet PCs are a bit pricey compared to the other items on her lists, but wouldn’t it be cool to see a Tablet PC on her Favorite Things Show next year?
