Lenovo announced an 8 inch Windows 8 based tablet constructed of machine-cut aluminum. The tablet has three modes: tablet mode, desktop mode, or tent mode.

The tablet has an 8.3 inch 1920×1200 display with an 8 MP camera. The ThinkPad 8 is powered by an Intel Bay Trail Quad Core processor, up to 128GB of storage, a microUSB 3.0 port, LTE2 connectivity and a full installation of Windows 8 Pro.

Product should be available near the end of January.
