Thirteen people were injured, six in critical condition, after an explosion of a building housing a grocery store and two floors of apartments. Some of the injuries were from individuals jumping out windows. KMSP TV published the explosion was reported at 8:16 a.m. at 516 Cedar Avenue.
According to USA Today, “Minneapolis Fire Chief John Fruetel said that victims were already outside the building and flames were pouring from the second and third floors when crews arrived.” According to Fox News, “Fire officials appeared to get the fire under control about 11:30 a.m.”
