One of the cool things to see here in the hospital while I recover from surgery is how the hospital uses technology–specifically how they use Tablet PCs.
The nurses carry around Motion Helpmate slates. They use the device for scanning bar codes on medicine, my wrist band, and their badges.
They don’t do much with the pen which kind of makes sense considering the software they are using.
The Motion Tablets are a new addition to the floor; they started using them this month.
