Over the last several months I’ve been spending a lot of time on FriendFeed and less time here blogging. Part of the reason is that my time has been broken up into tiny chunks as I’ve gone through chemo and radiation. I’ve found it a lot easier to read and post around tidbits on FriendFeed than to create posts here.
However, I think I’m going to get back to more blogging. I’ll still be using FriendFeed (and Twitter) though. I’ll post about various technical ideas here and save FriendFeed for pointing to articles and other blogs that I like as well as commenting on them. I’ll also use FriendFeed to follow what others are saying and talking about. Twitter and TechMeme will still be my backups in this area. Facebook, not so much. I’m just not a Facebook aficionado. Even with its growth, I still like Twitter and FriendFeed better. It’s probably partly because of the percentage of early adopters on these other services that attracts me.
