Research Fellow in Future Studies James Martin Institute Oxford

The Said Business School, Oxford, issued a call for applications for Research Fellow in Future Studies – James Martin Institute.

Interest in scenario-based futures studies, and scenario planning practices, has flourished in recent years. However, despite the sustained and growing interest in scenarios, there is methodological incoherence and a lack of well-grounded theories.

This is an opportunity for a Research Associate to contribute to this vital work in relation to so-called ‘public interest’ futures and ‘environmental scenario’ practices, in particular, through literature and practice review, methodological innovation and direct engagement in practice.

To apply, send a covering letter indicating how you fulfil the requirements of the post together with a detailed curriculum vitae and the names and complete contact details (including email addresses if possible) of two referees, to the HR Department at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, Egrove Park, Oxford OX1 5NY or [email protected].

The closing date is 12:00 noon (GMT) on Monday 15 December 2008.

Interviews are likely to be held in the first two weeks of January 2009.

This looks like an excellent opening for Tablet and other mobile PC using teacher. We wish you the best.
