ASUS introduced its R2H Ultra-Mobile PC this week.
The under 2 pound UMPC offers a webcam for video messaging and quick snapshots when you’re on the go and a fingerprint reader for simple logins. One fun feature is an integrated GPS that you can use during a family vacation.
This, teachers, and more for under two pounds weight. That’s a good start for a learning tool, regardless of how specific components might compare with options.
Now, I wonder how someone might adapt a science lesson, say in biology, to emphasize R2H features over standard printed text content? And exceed a state academic science standards at the same time, of course! Someone will figure out how to do so. Please let me know if you see it first.
Thanks, Lora for this lead and for more details and links than I included in this snip.
