Did you attand the Tablet PC Workshop at National Education Computing Conference on wednesday July 5? Or the one offered by Ken Collura from Bishop Hartley High School?

Betsy Webster reports on the 13th that she met up with him. He took a few minutes to share his tips for using technology in the classroom, and how he uses Camtasia to achieve his goals in a screencast with me. He also gives some tips for getting your feet wet. Ken’s deployed a lot of Tablet PC’s in his district. She offers a 7 minute screenshot with him. It’s worth a teacher Tableteer’s time.

On the fifth, two Microsoft reps and Gateway M280s demonstrated about 30 attendees went through basic Tablet features, including the TIP and Journal as well as played around with the Physics Illustrator. Right now they’re discussing the Tablet PC PowerToys.
