PBS unveiled on May 2, 2006, a new blog called learning.now. It addresses how new technology and Internet culture affect ways educators teach and children learn.
The blog will be aimed at K-12 educators, and will help guide them
through the sometimes strange world of new communications devices, Web
sites, and cultural shifts brought about by technology.
The press release description and early postings appear more topical than penetrating. Perhaps that impression will change.
Educators should consider adding this site to the “must monitor” list of daily professional duties in order to stay conversant with rapidly moving schooling rhetoric.
I wonder when they will feature one of the many Tablet PC and other mobile PC schools?
