tablet PC School: Forest Ridge School

Kudos to John Phillips, Director of Educational Technology at Forest Ridge School.

He shares descriptions of school events involving use of Tablet PCs and other notebooks. (He calls them laptops.)

The core of the package is the Acer TravelMate 312 Tablet laptop … it means that all of our 2006-07 5th and 6th grade students, a large percentage of our 9th and 10th grade students, and all of our faculty will have the same laptop model, and it is a TABLET. .

He includes screen shots of the new digital math program they will use in 5th and 6th grades next year.

Teachers will find this site worth monitoring for ideas about using Tablet PCs and other electronic devices in classrooms.
