How I Work: Bill Gates

Teachers may find it useful to join business people and investors reviewing how Bill Gates works.

It’s pretty incredible to look back 30 years to when Microsoft (Research) was starting and realize how work has been transformed. He uses a Tablet PC. And, yes, he reads about 100 emails a day; staff brief him on other email he receives that he does not read first. He uses SharePoint (a Windows Server 2003 component), for collaborating with others on projects and for gathering information about things he wants to know. He uses desktop search to retrieve information from gigabites of data he has stored.
