Wrist Wearable PC by Eurotech

Eurotech unveils the Wrist Wearable PC (WWPC). a hands-free computer, “a new generation of intelligent assistants.” Some might call this an Ultra Mobile PC. They designed this for first responders, maintenance workers, and logistics specialists.

It can be quickly configured to access any remote host system through a wired or wireless interface and features fully integrated GPS, Bluetooth, Fast Infrared and WLAN, supporting the Linux® and WinCE® operating systems…Mini SD memory slot, advance power management, audio mini speakers, video with a bright outdoor-readable 65K colour TFT touch screen display, a direct-access keypad, USB host, USB device, headphone jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11g and IRDA

I found nothing suggesting that teachers or students in schools have tried this PC.

It seems logical that someone in a school will give it a try soon. I can imagine cheaters trying their hand at it in a test, but that’s not what I mean about using it in school. Let’s keep watching for their reports about how they used a WWPC to increase learning rates.
