Names, categories, and products change, sometimes rapidly, in the computer industry. Today’s state of the art name may refer to tomorrow’s obsolete equipment. In this context, mobile PCs have remained relevant for several years. Static PCs appear bulky and unnecessary for most uses, although I have a bunch of them, including two Apple IIes.
