TabletKiosk’s Ultra-Mobile PC Review

Lora has posted an interesting 12-year old’s opinion of TabletKiosk’s Ultra-Mobile PC, Microsoft code named Origami. Lora posted an interview and clip of Kim, a 12 year old, using a TabletKiosk engineering prototype UMPC.

Please note, teachers, that Kim, has her own Tablet PC. She grew up around static and mobile PCs. I mention her background, because it seems consistent with experiences of many students in our classes.

I know one parent who is sending to her daughter’s school principal a link to the TabletKiosk clips on Lora’s website.

I hope that this is the kind of clip that school administrators and board members will find useful as an introduction to new advanced technology that can increase learning rates for many students. It can supplement the use of other Tablet PCs assigned to students.
