Congratulations to Mike Winters and Ken Collura of Bishop Hartley High School for national recognition of their Tablet PC and other technology deployments.
Tableteers know Ken from his participation in Tablet PC gatherings, for example at CES the past two years. Watch for Ken’s reviews of the Bishop Hartley program at professional conferences.
Bishop Hartley was the first school in the U.S. to use Tablet PCs with all seniors. That was in 2003. Wow!
Meaning no disrespect to the excellent efforts of other educators, congratulations is too soft a term to acknowledge such outstanding leadership in schools as Bishop Hartley has offered.
They demonstrated a proof of concept for the viability of students and teachers as Tableteers. Let’s watch for reports of affects Tablet PCs have on student learning rates.
