Thank you, Michael Hyatt for your recent observations about the impact of e-books on book publishing. I did not realize that publishing margins are so narrow that a five to six percent shift to electronic books would affect the industry so drastically.
I wonder if that means textbook publishers will pressure schools to remain with hardcopies rather than move to electronic downloads of books?
I also wonder how publishers will accommodate such technology as digital ink for note taking, editing, etc.?
These are interesting times! I appreciate you sharing your thoughts about tools we as teachers use routinely today and tomorrow.
