PC Magazine: Microsoft releases “feature-complete” CTP

PC Magazine details latest CTP release of Vista, Build 5308.

I haven’t seen this build yet. I’m excited to give it a try. Why? Because PC Magazine is indicating that this release is “feature-complete” and “responsive and highly usable.” Yes, it’s still a hard-hats-only, beta release, but it sounds like it’s going to be the best opportunity so far to get a strong feeling for how all the pieces fit together. I’m looking forward to trying it out. If you’re not too keen on installing a beta OS, PC Magazine has a rather extensive collection of Vista screenshots here.
