Blogger on flight that experiences rapid de-pressurization

I heard about this rapid de-pressurization of an Alaska Flight #536 on the radio this morning, but the 15 second blurb about the event on the news was nothing compared to this first-hand account from Jeremy Hermanns. Jeremy even had the presence of mind to take a photo with his oxygen mask on.

“Nothing can describe the helpless feeling you go through during a time like this, when you are absent any control, you cannot breathe, and everyone around is stunned into fear….”

Gulp.

Update: It appears that Alaska Airlines employees are not too happy with Jeremy’s account of the flight. If this proves to be true, this is very unsettling. Very.
