Anthony Salcito (Microsoft General Manager, US Enterprise Education) and Scott L. Campbell (DellSales VP, K-12 Education) collaborate to offer FutureReady to help students reach their full potential through advanced technology. These companies and their respresentatives are looking for students and education professionals with a vision for the future.
They believe that some of America’s most creative visionaries reside in today’s classrooms. They want to shine a light on their innovative thinking, and inspire the use of technology to improve education environments.
FutureReady offers to schools a Mobile Computer Lab Contest, Dell Intelligent Classroom Sweepstakes, and K-12 Visionary Contest.
Maybe I missed it, but I don’t see any reference to use of digital ink or Tablet PCs in visions for students or schools. Maybe this is because Dell does not offer the digital ink function?
For students and educators willing to compete for money and third party encouragement, FutureReady programs appear worthy of your consideration. Note how assertive Fairview Elementary School in Sherwood, OH, is in this competition!
