I wonder how many educators, especially classroom teachers, are Tablet PC MVPs?
It seems reasonable that Microsoft would invite many teachers from the 100 plus schools using Tablet PCs into this prestigious aggregate, if Microsoft wants educators to use Tablet PCs in schools.
And how many students are MVPs? How many of these are in elementary school? Middle school? High school? Public school? Private school? Home school?
I know several elementary age students who have used Tablet PCs since they arrived in the US for homework as well as their own profitable businesses. How may they attract the eye of Microsoft for consideration for MVP participation?
Perhaps Microsoft might adapt its MVP qualifications so that educators and students may also participate in this program, given that educators and students of many ages make notable contributions to the field as early adopters.
How about offering a “Tablet PC Microsoft Valuable Teacher” and a separate “Tablet PC Microsoft Valuable Student” recognition for contributions consistent with these arenas and with benefits fitting each aggregate?
