Ellie and the iPad

8 month old puppies need lots of exercise. Ellie is no exception. Yes, she can deceive you and pretend to sleep but when your back is turned – ACTION.

Yesterday, Ellie went for a nice run. She looked exhausted so we proceeded to go on a trip to Disneyland for the afternoon. Upon our return, we found the living room to be a mess.

Ellie had helped herself to getting onto the dinning room table, finished eating the oreo cookies (leaving the plastic wrap), removed a new box of toothpaste, tore apart a water bottle, and ripped several other things apart. For example, her dog leash was ripped in half – half buried under a couch cushion and the other half under a chair. Worse, an Apple iPad was missing.

After looking under couch cushions, chairs, etc, the iPad was found outside. Ellie had chewed the edge of the case and left the Apple iPad in the mud and water (it had rained earlier in the day).

I let things dry out last night – and this is the picture of the unit today.

After removing the iPad from the case and wiping it down this morning, I could not find a single scratch – the screen is not scratched, sides are not scratched, backing is not scratched. The unit almost looks brand new.

Most important, the unit works.  Now I just need to find a new iPad case.
